A letter from the founder

Why I’m building this.

For most people, work is more than a paycheck. It is independence, dignity, and the ability to care for the people they love. Few things shape the trajectory of a life more than meaningful work — yet for millions of people, finding that opportunity has become harder, not because they lack talent or ambition, but because the systems built to connect people with work haven’t evolved alongside the people they’re meant to serve.

Today’s workforce doesn’t fit neatly into one category. Someone may hold a full-time job while building a business on weekends, freelance between projects, earn a certification that opens an entirely different career, or care for family while doing all three. Increasingly, people aren’t defined by a single profession — they’re defined by their ability to adapt. Artificial intelligence is accelerating that shift, changing how work gets done and how opportunity is discovered. The question is no longer whether work will change. It’s who will benefit from that change — whether technology expands opportunity, or concentrates it further among those who already have access. That question is the reason Anywork exists.

We didn’t start by asking how to build a better job board. We asked a more fundamental question: if we were designing the workforce today, from a blank sheet of paper, knowing what we now know about AI, flexible work, and the many ways people actually earn a living — would we build the systems we have? We wouldn’t. Most platforms still assume a person is one thing: an employee, a freelancer, a student, a business owner. Real careers are layered, and the systems supporting them should reflect that.

That belief is the foundation of ANY WorkSpace — an adaptive network built around how people actually build a livelihood, where employment, entrepreneurship, learning, and professional services are connected parts of the same journey instead of isolated destinations. At its center is Adé, our AI companion — named for my three children, Adejare, Adeola, and Adekunle, because raising them taught me what it means to keep understanding someone as they grow, not freeze them as who they were last year. Our ambition was never to help someone find their next job. It’s to help them build their next chapter, with a platform that becomes more intelligent, more connected, and more personal over time instead of resetting every time life changes.

Opportunity alone isn’t enough. Trust matters. Belonging matters. Being seen matters. Some of the most capable people remain overlooked because traditional systems can’t recognize talent that doesn’t fit a conventional résumé. We believe the future of work becomes more inclusive not by lowering standards, but by expanding what counts as evidence of ability — experience, resilience, and demonstrated potential alongside credentials.

Thank you for taking the time to read our vision. We hope you’ll help us build it.
